Ok, quick hypothetical about Holdouts.
Let's say I draft Victor Cruz for $14M. He's a Solid Performer. At the end of the year, he's joined the Elite. 3 Tier jump, right, so he goes into holdout status.
Now, the rules state two different things (I think):
First paragraph in L.4: "Meaning he will demand money equal to the average salary of players at his position at his new tier or a 30% salary increase if for some reason the average of that tier is not higher than his current salary."
Third paragraph in L4: "Meeting his demands means his salary automatically increases to the average of the new tier or 30% higher than current salary (whichever of the two is higher)."
Let's say for sake of argument that the average salary of Elite receivers is $17.5M. 30% increase on top of $14M is $18.2M. Which will he demand, and receive, if you accept his holdout demand?

Whichever is more. Both paragraphs should read that his new demand will be the average salary of his new tier or 30% increase over current salary, whichever is higher.
Good catch. I'll edit that when I get home so they both read the same.
In your example Cruz's new salary would be $18.2M since that is higher. Say the average of the elite was $18.5m then he would take the average instead.
